Here are the toggles for:
SCRIPT WRITER:
These are set under the code of RX. These affect the script writer and nothing else.
DEFAULT_PRINTER=xx
(Put the printer device in place of the ‘xx’ [LP, P1, etc])
Action: The scripts will always print to this printer.
Otherwise: It will prompt for a printer.
NAME=N
Action: It won’t print the name under the signature line.
Otherwise: It will.
UPDATE=N
Action: It won’t update the drug dictionary based on changes keyed in to the script screen.
Otherwise: It will.
ADD=Y
Action: Allows adding a new drug to the drug dictionary based on changes keyed in to the script screen.
Otherwise: It will not add from the Rx. Additions must be done through the Rx dictionary.
TRAY=Y
Action: Causes a tray selection window to prompt for the tray when printing an Rx with WORD.
Otherwise: It prints to the default tray.
SETUP=Y
Action: Brings the windows system printer selection up for each Rx printed through WORD.
Otherwise: Prints on the default printer.
SELECT_DR=YES NEW!
Action: Displays a prompt for the Rx Physician before launching the web based Digital Rx program.
Otherwise: Uses the Physician as registered in the patient’s demographics.
FILTER_DR=YES NEW!
Action: Allows labeling of certain Physicians to appear in the right panel listing of Phsicians when the cursor is placed in the Physician Field while creating the Rx. This is useful when each Physician is defined multiple times in order to separate offices or hospital services.
When using this option, enter “RX” in the EXPLAIN field #18 in the Physician Tables initial screen in order to include certain Physicians in the Physician list.
Otherwise: All Physician numbers are included in the list.
DUP_REFILLS=YES NEW!
Action: Drugs re-ordered through the refill (CPOE) screen will be added to history list even if already ordered on the same day.
Otherwise: Duplicated drgs re-ordered on the same day will NOT be added to the Rx history list.
