PROCEDURE CODE DICTIONARY:

These are set under the code of ACDPROC.

STORE_CPT=Y NEW!

This will cause an in house code ( example OV3 ) to also be available by entering the CPT code as entered on the Medicare line, Field#14. (example: 99213 ). Each code will also display in the procedure search.

By entering the code OV3, two distinct and separate records are stored in the procedure code dictionary, one for the in-house code (OV3) and one for the CPT code (99213).

When maintaining the dictionary later, always make changes under the in house code ( example: OV3 ). This will always also automatically change the CPT code.  If changes are made for the CPT code record, the change will not be reflected for the in house code ( OV3 ).

CARRIER LIBRARY ( INSURANCE COMPANIES):

These are set under the code of ACDINS

ROLEDEX=N

This will prevent insurance company phone numbers from being stored in the general system rolodex.
